Plan Reviews have transitioned to an online process.

Plan Review Process:

  • Go to: "Wyoming State Fire Marshal's eLicensing, ePermit, and ePayment Portal" to create your account and apply for your Plan Review(s).   (Portal Link is Below)
          Plans shall be submitted to the Department of Fire Prevention and Electrical Safety for Review and Approval before any work              shall commence.
  • Submittals shall include Complete Plans and Specifications showing all applicable information indicated on the appropriate Plan Review Checklist(s).
  • Plans shall be Accepted or Rejected for Review within 5 business days of date of receipt.
  • Review of Complete Submittals shall be completed within 21 business days of date of acceptance. If additional information is found to be needed during the Plan Review, the Plan Review shall be completed within 10 business days of the receipt of all of the additional information requested, or the original 21 business days whichever is greater. 
  • Valuation shall be calculated using current International Code Council Valuation Table. 
  • Review Fees shall be calculated using fee schedule in the Department of Fire Prevention and Electrical Safety Rules Chapter 2; Section 3. 
  • Applicant will be notified of the fees due when the plans are Accepted. Fees shall be paid prior to issuance of a Permit to Construct. 
  • No work shall be done before the Permit to Construct is issued. 
  • If you are an Electrical Contractor with an existing portal account, please contact our Cheyenne office at 307-777-7288. We will grant you access to the plan review application.
