*As of July 1, 2017 the DFPES will be switching to Emergency Reporting for the purpose of NFIRS data collection and reporting. We will continue to accept FH incident submissions via the normal procedures but FH licenses will no longer be purchased for fire departments.*

*Emergency Reporting licenses have been created for every fire department and are being distributed to County Fire Wardens for login dissemination. If you do not have access please contact your fire warden for more information.*

*New reference links have been added below for the Emergency Reporting FAQ page, as well as video instructions for exporting FH data and importing back into Emergency Reporting.*

The Wyoming Fire Incident Reporting System is a program established to meet national as well as state fire incident reporting requirements. Fire departments across the state use a form provided by the DFPES office to gather information on fires that occur in their jurisdiction. Thanks to the Wyoming Fire Service embracing the program, communities statewide have established historical records on fires. This provides citizens educational tools they can use to preserve their lives and property from the ravages of fire.

The Wyoming State Fire Marshal formed the Wyoming Fire Incident Reporting System Advisory Committee to act as a liaison between the fire service in Wyoming and our office to ensure quality, timely and standard statewide reporting of fires in Wyoming.

The Wyoming Fire Incident Reporting System is currently administered by:
